In this mural, I painted a Texas music icon, 10x grammy winner, activist, and overall badass, Willie Nelson. As an artist who was seen as an outcast in the country music world, he still managed to pave his own successful path. I like to think that Willie and his music are reminders when the world feels so divided, we will always have more common than we may think. His spirit of resilience and uniqueness inspires me to celebrate our differences while connecting over what brings us together.
