APPLY HERE -- https://downtowncorpuschristi.org/events/mural-fest -- The Corpus Christi Downtown Management District (CCDMD) is seeking qualified artists to participate as muralists in the 2025 Corpus Christi Mural Festival. Artists who are interested can submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to provide the services requested. Selected artist(s) will be chosen to install a mural that contributes to the vibrancy, revitalization, and economic vitality of Downtown Corpus Christi. Artists will be selected based on qualifications that can best achieve the goals and objectives set for the festival. CCDMD will cover the following costs related to the mural project:
• $4,000 Mural Commission • Paint, Primer, & Sealant
• $300 Travel Stipend (if applicable) • Supplies & Equipment
• $300 Meal Stipend • Lodging (if applicable)
Any fees incurred for assistance from contractors, agreements between artists and property owners or any
other outside parties shall be the responsibility of the applicant

Call is open to all artists aged 18 and up. Artist teams are acceptable. Artists will be required to have completed
at least one large outdoor mural of at least 1,000 sq. ft. within the past five (5) years to be eligible. Artists who
have experience creating works of art for local businesses are encouraged to apply. We will only be accepting
applications for Mural Fest 2025 from artists who are US citizens. Artists must be willing to travel to Corpus
Christi, Texas to work.

The Corpus Christi Downtown Management District is seeking downtown properties and their exterior and interior walls to be utilized during the 2025 Downtown Mural Fest in the Marina Arts District. This is the fourth year of the highly anticipated Mural Fest and this art-centered district in Downtown Corpus Christi is home to more than 35 large scale murals. The mural site must be within the Marina Arts District, highly visible from the street, and easily accessibility to
the public. If lights and cameras are not present, property owners may apply for grant funding for installation.
CCDMD requires participating property owners to contribute $2,000 towards paint and supplies.
