Mural Content: Notes from the team members on site: Sun - teamwork, diversity, equality Sky half sunshine half northern lights - our facility runs day and night. It would be neat for the artist to have sunshine rays become/transform into the colors of the northern lights. Important dates to include: -1998 – (Rivertown Sign, Rivertown was the name of the company that owned the building when Target bought it.) -2002 – (date on the semi- photo attached-, Target opened our fulfillment center and renamed it Target.direct.) -2004 – (date on billboard- photo attached), Target renamed our fulfillment center Target.com. We want the billboard to represent our move to being an online fulfillment center. We do not send products to stores. We only fulfill online orders). Cities, bridges, bluffs, and Woodbury city symbol (tree graphic in center) – our Team is from all around Woodbury- we wanted to showcase that by including both city skylines. I thought it would be cool to reflect Minneapolis in the water. And the Woodbury tree being in the middle of the St Paul Bridge and the St. Croix crossing bridge represents the location we all have in common. More items to represent our area – Minnesota state bird, Wisconsin state flowers, MN state flowers. Water, since Minnesota is the land of 10,000 lakes. Additional Design cues: Include T-9407 on a package being held by someone in the foreground to represent the building/represent that they ship directly to homes and not to stores. Keep the Rivertown and Hudson street signs as shown in the mockup. Include more trees (similar to the Woodbury tree graphic in the middle) but done with more realism and have the seasons/colors from left to right change with the season. For example, the trees on the left are budding, the trees in the middle are full, trees on the right center are changing color, snowy, whiter scene on the right The Woodbury tree graphic that is represented should also be represented in that same graphic style. This is a logo of sorts for the city so they want to use it. They really love the depiction of the sun with people holding arms together. You can use this and adapt it to personal style, or come up with something similar that also depicts teamwork/diversity. Style- Realism over abstract or representational. More 3d rather than 2d. Open to artists' vision as long as everything is identifiable and not strictly 2D/flat.
