APPLY HERE -- https://artist.callforentry.org/festivals_unique_info.php?ID=14940 -- The Town of Avon, Colorado, (“Town”) requests proposals from multiple mural artists or artist teams to create an original mural or murals for the west facing exterior Stucco wall of the Seasons at Avon building located on the corner of W. Benchmark Road and Mikaela Way. This is a project of the Avon Town Council and Cultural, Arts & Special Events (“CASE”) Committee. Overview: The Seasons at Avon Mural Project (“Seasons Mural”) will help to further establish a creative identity and spirit for the east end of Harry A. Nottingham Park; the crowned jewel of the Town. The community minded Mural will become a significant landmark visually connecting the cultural hubs of the community at the intersection of Avon’s Library, Recreation Center, and Civic Center. This culturally significant eastern gateway to Nottingham Park should inspire community, conversation, and connection. The enhancement of public places by integrating the creative work of artists improves the pedestrian experience and promotes vibrancy, creativity, and livelihood in the community. The presence of and access to public art enlivens public areas and their grounds and makes them more welcoming. It creates a deeper interaction with the places where we live, work, and visit. Public art illuminates the diversity and history of a community, and points to its aspirations for the future. Project Intent: To create a significant landmark, visually connecting Avon’s Library, Recreation Center, Civic Center and the eastern gateway to Nottingham Park which inspires community, conversation, connection; and further identifies Avon as an art community. The mural will use a bright and cheerful color palette to evoke joy and positivity. Characters and scenes will be depicted in a whimsical, illustrative style to engage viewers of all ages. The selected artist is responsible for working with Town representatives in all aspects to include multiple iterations of design.

August 1-3, 2025, artists will compete for awards and recognition by producing their best work on 8ft x 8ft primed panels. Mural locations are scattered throughout our downtown businesses and open spaces.Each accepted artist will receive a $600 stipend to help with expenses. The Fraser Mountain Mural Festival is a platform for local, Front Range and national artists to compete for cash prizes as well as generating creative energy and raising awareness for the mission to build The Fraser Center for Creative Arts. Our 2025 theme is- WILD AT HEART

It is a national funding program managed by the six U.S. regional arts organizations (RAOs). Often called the “art of everyday life,” folklife includes traditional art forms and other creative expressions that reflect the aesthetics, practices, values, and beliefs of community groups. All traditions are connected to the history of the communities that practice them, but they are not just art forms of the past. Instead, they are “living traditions” that adapt to remain relevant in a changing world, including new and emerging traditions. Individuals and communities use traditional arts to build collective power, engage in healing, and strengthen their identity. Walking Together serves traditional artists/practitioners and organizations that show a deep commitment to sustaining folklife rooted in communities of color. WHAT IS IT? $15,000 grants for traditional artists/practitioners $50,000 grants for community organizations Grant funds have limited restrictions and do not have to be used for a specific project. They may be used to grow your work and help you support your community’s traditions into the future.

The AWAW EAG supports environmental art projects that inspire thought, action, and ethical engagement. Projects should not only point at problems, but aim to engage an environmental issue at some scale. Proposals should illustrate thorough consideration of a project’s ecological and social ethics. Projects that explore interdependence, relationships, and systems through Indigenous and ancestral practices are encouraged to apply. For the 2025 cycle, the program will distribute over $520,000 in funding. This more than doubles the yearly funding since AWAW EAG’s inaugural year, offering more artists the opportunity to have their projects funded.

APPLY VIA LINK ----- https://artist.callforentry.org/festivals_unique_info.php?ID=15497 ----- The Boulder Public Art Program seeks to commission an artist or team of artists to create original mosaic artworks for the soon to be constructed Central Avenue Bridge in Boulder, Colorado. The Central Avenue Bridge will undergo a replacement located along the north side of Central Avenue, near 57th street, adjacent to Flatiron Industrial Park in the coming months. This opportunity is for two mosaic artworks to be installed on the concrete bridge walls facing the sidewalk and street. Each side of the bridge contains an inset for mosaic art of approx., 2.5H’ x 20L’ x .5” D. The commission amount is approximately $40,000 USD.
