We have 18 k-rails (cement barriers) on the street - 2 k-rails in 9 locations between 7th and 17th Streets. They need to be artistically painted in order to feel/look more like Montana Avenue and welcome shoppers and visitors back to the street as we reopen. The photos show a few examples of the k-rails and the outdoor dining areas they protect. The Ideas is that the 9 locations would have a unique look that is coordinated with the businesses that use them.
