APPLY VIA LINK ----- https://artist.callforentry.org/festivals_unique_info.php?ID=14854 ----- Englewood Arts (EA) is thrilled to announce the opening of our artist residency for the third year, inviting talented artists to join our vibrant community focused on both Performing and Visual Arts. If you’re an artist working in Glassblowing, Ceramics, Painting, Fibers, Murals, Woodworking, Sculptures or Metals, we would love to hear from you! We are also considering residents in Photography, Performance, and Writing. Our newly constructed studios are designed to foster collaboration and creativity, providing you with an environment to explore and expand your artistic practice. As a resident artist at EA, you will have access to: Semi-private studio space equipped with essential tools and private shelving for your materials. A stipend to support your creative endeavors. Paid teaching opportunities to share your skills and knowledge with the community. Exhibition opportunities to showcase your work and gain exposure. -Including an annual resident group exhibition. EA is committed to building a bridge between the artistic community and the general public, promoting an atmosphere of knowledge-sharing and artistic appreciation. As part of your residency, you are expected to engage in community events and contribute service hours to help enhance our programs. For those needing accommodations, we have limited shared living space available for $500 a month, making it easier for you to immerse yourself in the residency experience. We welcome applications from artists who are passionate about unique production opportunities and are eager to engage with the community through exploration and experimentation in their art forms and through t community driven events. We are encouraging Artists with an MFA, and either a Ceramics, or Sculptural background to apply for our a desire to teach at the college level in collaboration with Metropolitan community college. We encourage you to apply. Please prepare a proposal that outlines your vision for the collaborative class, including potential themes, objectives, and methods of engagement.

Artists willing to maintain an active studio presence, participating in Englewood Arts events and excited to teach and learn are perfect for our residency program. Please submit: A written proposal of interest (500 word max, please include details of studio practice, desired projects and how you could utilize a year long residency) Resumé with a short bio (500 word max) 10 digital images of your work (2-5 writing sample or 5000 max word count) Two professional references with contact information (name, phone number, email address, relationship) Must not be currently in a degree seeking program at the start of the residency. Glassblowing, Ceramics- A degree from an accredited university or equivalent required. Years of experience in a professional studio is preferred. Woodworking, Metals, Murals, Fiber, Painting- Artists must be able to work independently as well as in a community setting, with familiarity of common equipment and maintenance.
