To select an experienced artist or team of artists to install a large public mural on the upper façade of Fresno Ideaworks building at 1730 H St in downtown Fresno.
Mural Theme:
The proposed mural should focus on one or more of the following themes:
Nature landscape showcasing the flora and fauna of California.
Embodiment of Fresno Ideaworks’ motto: “Learn. Create. Share.” that incurs a sense of community and the industrious nature of Ideaworks’ members and their workspace.
Artist Preferences

The RFP is open to artists currently residing in California. Preference will be given to artists that currently or have previously lived or worked in the County of Fresno.
Artists may submit a proposal individually or as a team. Members of the artists’ team may not change over the life of the project.
Employees of the City of Fresno are ineligible to apply.
Artists or at least one member of artist team must have experience painting at least one mural.
Artists must be able to work in a professional capacity to oversee the design, fabrication, and installation of a mural and shall be able to coordinate as necessary with Fresno Ideaworks and Creative Fresno.
