APPLY HERE -- https://artist.callforentry.org/festivals_unique_info.php?ID=15007 -- The City of Fort Pierce is honored to announce a unique opportunity for artists to contribute to our upcoming mural project that celebrates the rich history and cultural legacy of the Highwaymen—a group of 26 African-American artists who profoundly impacted Florida's art scene in the mid-20th century. A proposed mural will be painted on the exterior south and east walls of the newly renovated Florida Highwaymen Museum, located at 1234 Avenue D, Fort Pierce, FL 34950. The image, which has been selected captures the essence and culture of the Highwaymen artists.
