The mural should capture the spirit and character of the surrounding neighborhood while celebrating reading. We are looking for a design that highlights themes of knowledge, creativity, and community, reflecting the library’s role as a cornerstone for learning and connection. The following pages will show the mural site and offer space to add images of your mural work for your application. You may upload sketches, in-progress photos, full renderings, final work, or anything that represents the work you are seeking. By submitting images of your work, you consent to Lions & Rabbits showing it to the design committee and future clients in private meetings. This work will not be printed or reproduced, sold in any capacity, or disbursed digitally. Please check the box below to continue the application. RFQ applications are graded on several different qualifications. Local creatives will be weighed more heavily.

2/14 - RFQ launched 3/31- RFQ closes, design committee begins review process 5/15 - three finalists commissioned for a sketch 5/15 - Final design(s) submitted and one artist will be selected. LRCFA will work with selected artist on any final modifications and finalize payments for other two artists. 5/18 - LRCFA facilitates any design modifications design committee requests. 5/20 - LRCFA seek district approvals. Selected creatives organizes supplies, rents equipment, and coordinates schedule based on library hours. 7/1 - Installation of the project begins. 7/25 - Completion of project and final review.
