Mural Opportunity in  New York

Ocean Protection Mural

Open
To celebrate the historic moment when the UN High Seas / Ocean Treaty enters into force on January 17, 2026, Greenpeace is commissioning a large-scale public mural in the vicinity of the United Nations Headquarters in New York City. The mural will be created with Hawaiian cultural leaders and artists, drawing on Pacific ocean genealogy and the understanding that humanity and the ocean are deeply interconnected.
