Mural Opportunity in North Charleston

APPLY HERE -- https://www.meltcharleston.com/call-for-artists -- We are looking for talented, professional artists to be featured as Official MELT Muralists. If you would like to be considered for one of our Featured Artist spots this year please click the application button. Applications are now being accepted for the 2025 MELT Mural Fest. For the festival 6-10 muralists (or mural teams) will be selected to paint at the festival, which will take place September 11-14, 2025. Compensation/Stipend: Selected artists will receive a $2000 stipend for their mural work alongside a $500 travel stipend, for a total of $2500. Artists will also receive discounted paint supplies from Sherwin Williams, ladders and lift rentals as needed, and a swag bag including Zibra brushes and artist kits.

Artists of all stripes are encouraged to apply! However, we are most interested in seeking professional muralists or artists with mural experience. Selected artists must be prepared to provide proof of liability insurance and OSHA lift certification if a lift is required to complete your wall.
