We’re looking for a playful, modern mural for the interior of our dog spa, which is directly connected to a self-service car wash. We’d love to have the two spaces feel connected through the artwork. The main focal point would be a vintage-inspired convertible cruising through a car wash, with a few happy dogs riding in the car wearing sunglasses. Think fun, carefree, slightly cheeky energy — almost like the dogs are out for their own little spa day. 🐶😎🚗 We love a loose, abstract/illustrative style rather than something highly realistic. The dogs and car can have expressive, slightly exaggerated features, with painterly brushstrokes and imperfect linework that gives the mural an artistic, hand-painted feel. We’d like to incorporate subtle car-wash elements around the scene — bubbles, water, soap, wash brushes, flowing lines and abstract movement — while keeping the overall composition sophisticated and cohesive. Color Palette We’re envisioning a soft, neutral, earthy palette with muted blue-gray accents. Please use these colors as the general palette/reference: Warm Ivory — #F1ECE3 Soft Beige — #D8CDBB Warm Taupe — #B7A895 Muted Caramel — #A9825A Dusty Blue-Gray — #87949A Charcoal — #3F4140 The mural should remain primarily neutral, with the caramel and blue-gray used as subtle accents rather than dominant colors. We’re open to slight variations in tone if needed to work with the existing space. Overall Feel Playful • Cool • Modern • Whimsical • Artistic • Clean We want people to walk into the dog spa and immediately smile, while still feeling like the artwork belongs in a polished, modern business. The goal is something that feels Instagram-worthy and memorable without being overly cartoonish. We’re open to the artist interpreting the concept creatively. The dogs cruising through the car wash in a convertible is the heart of the idea, but we’d love to see the artist bring their own style and personality to the piece.

Working with a local artist to travel to Utah, gain some inspiration from their trip, and come back to their home city to create a mural based on the experience. Likely imagery includes mountains, skiing, wildflowers, etc.

I own a paint and body shop and the building is very non descript. I feel if I made it more visible and clear for the people driving by they might be more likely to associate us with that work.

Overview: LPA Dallas has moved to a new studio in Turtle Creek (Dallas,TX), and we are seeking a talented artist or team or artists to provide a mural or series of murals. The mural(s) should connect the sustainability focus of our firm with the vibrant culture of our Dallas team. The art should ignite the imagination and inspire staff and visitors through storytelling. This has been infused into the design of our new office, and we want to reflect that through every aspect of the space we inhabit and the work we produce. About the Project: The new LPA Dallas office is a 6,200 SQFT office space in Dallas, Texas. We are targeting two primary spaces for artwork, although we are open to additional options depending on the design vision. With the budget provided you can choose one or both locations for your art and the percentage of coverage for each area to meet your design intent. Location 1 – Reception feature wall and pivot door with option to wrap art behind future display. It is intended that the artwork will bleed from the wall onto the pivot door and wrap the door on both sides so it is cohesive from either side when in the open position. (15’-4” wide X 12’-0” high with an additional 5’-7” Wide if choosing to wrap behind future display area.) Location 2 – Open office feature wall. (19’-4” wide X 12’-0” high). The office material palette will be provided to you for color and texture reference. The design of the studio was inspired by the native flora and fauna of the Texas Blackland Prairie. We have carefully selected natural and sustainable materials throughout the project such as low embodied-carbon flooring, wood fiber ceiling acoustic panels, dimensional hemp acoustic wall panels, flax fiber cabinet laminate, mineral paint, natural cork and through body clay tile. It was important to us that we honor and celebrate materials in their natural form wherever possible in the space and want that intention infused into the artwork.
