Buzz and Bloom is a vibrant mural at Bitterlake Community Center that captures a hummingbird suspended in stillness among bold abstract shapes and a glowing red columbine. Painted in partnership with The City of Seattle, the piece invites viewers to pause, notice small moments of beauty, and find joy in what’s right in front of them.

Originally from the East Coast and now based in Seattle, I moved west in 2017 to work in commercial art and have since built a practice centered on large-scale public murals. I’ve been making art my entire life and now focus fully on projects that activate public space and create meaningful visual impact. Alongside my independent mural practice, I bring extensive experience managing complex, high-visibility art projects and currently serve as Project Director at Urban ArtWorks, a Seattle-based public art, you mentorship and community building nonprofit. In this role, I oversee commissioned murals from initial intake through installation, with deep knowledge of logistics, timelines, permitting, and on-site production. This dual perspective—as both muralist and project manager—allows me to approach each project with creativity, reliability, and care. I enjoy traveling for mural opportunities and am excited to continue pushing scale, narrative, and visual energy in my work.
