Redmond Radiance Mural Art

This mural was created as part of the first inaugural Redmond Art Walk. It's made of spray and brush paint, painted on one side of an 8x8x8’ plywood cube structure on which four artists did live painting during the art walk event. The design is inspired by the PNW’s natural beauty, Redmond’s active culture as the bike capital of the Northwest, and local icons such as Marymoor Park and the Redmond Station.

I am originally from the East Coast and currently live in Seattle, where I moved for a job in Commercial Art back in 2017. While I love Seattle, I enjoy exploring new places and would love to travel for a mural project. I've been making art all my life and recently began focusing on my personal and professional practice within the public art realm. I have years of experience managing large commercial art projects for an art consulting company, and am currently the Project Director at Urban ArtWorks, which is a Seattle-based mural and youth nonprofit. At Urban ArtWorks, I oversee our commissioned projects from initial intake to installation, and I'm well-versed in the nuances of making a mural successful, including project management, planning, and production. I love making murals and am excited to push the boundaries of what I can do.
