About this mural:
This mural installation was designed by the restaurant's in house designer, and I installed it. I hired two assistants to help install this mural over a course of a week. It included one 20' H x 10' W wall, and two ceilings about 30' x 40'. In incorporate multiple icons they designed to match their branding.

Amanda Jean Murphy was born in Philadelphia, PA, and moved to San Diego in 2014 to pursue her career as an artist. She holds a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, and an Art Teaching Credential from Point Loma Nazarene University. While currently exhibiting in San Diego, Murphy’s goal is to exhibit her art internationally. Her paintings can be found on canvases, murals, and oftentimes digital work, with a concentration of acrylic and watercolor mediums.
Amanda Jean’s art focuses on the intersection of color and form to evoke emotion and tell a story. Her themes are centered around mental health, travel, and nature--encompassing the human spirit and culture that she experiences. Murphy is constantly exploring the world around her, soaking in all the emotions and colors that go with it. Much of her work has a meditative, spiritual vibe to it, if not comical and psychedelic. With a bold and vibrant personality, Amanda Jean’s art reflects the outgoing and bubbly personality she projects in her daily life.
