About this mural:
I created this still life mural while visiting Portugal- Lisbon Lounge, the oldest hostel in Lisbon, was beyond welcoming and wanted me to create a piece to liven up their kitchen area. Guests from all over the world stay there, and the kitchen is a common area where we gather nightly to have family meals. I decided to create a still life representing Lisbon using ceramics from shop down the street, bread and fruits from the market, and plants / wildlife from the area. I composed and photographed the reference myself, and spiced up the colors to give it a unique and vibrant style.

I’m a traveling muralist and painter from Dunwoody, GA currently residing in Athens, GA. I graduated from Kennesaw State in 2018 with a BFA in Painting/
Drawing. Currently, I use murals as a medium to experience and learn from international communities through work at festivals and hostels. Stylistically, there is a
hotpot of influences that ebb and flow throughout my work, and currently I'm working on a concentration of paintings that focus on women and tigers. I use these subjects for storytelling, sharing tales of love, friendship, and the plight of finding peace in this
ever-changing vortex of a world.
My creative approach formed from my desire to paint all forms of art, from organic abstraction to textile design to realism to illustration. I plan all of my work
digitally, which is where the composition and colors can be altered efficiently. My external goal is to activate shared spaces and engage the community- I see my pieces as
my kids, and love hearing about their lives after I’ve completed them.
