About this mural:
Catalina Cactus Wall, my first major mural, was 28ft long x 6ft tall. Inspired by my recent 25-painting series featuring colorful cacti and their blooms. Inspired by the juxtaposition of the cactus's sharp spines existing harmoniously and symbiotically with the plant's delicate flowers, the Cactus Series embraces the oft overlooked and misunderstood cactus and celebrates it for its quiet and colorful persistence. This mural transformed a drab concrete wall into a colorful attraction.
