Vista En Las Nubes/Vision in the Clouds Mural Art
About this mural:
This was based on the hopes of hard working Mexican American families who hold down 3 or 4 jobs and make the minimum wages and often below the minimum wage. The clouds are configurations of praying hands, the Virgin Mary, Doves, Roses, Candles and a Cross which signifies their faith and hope for their future in America. The orange cart represents the worker who often resorts to selling oranges on the corner to feed their family.

Hello. I am a Visual Artist/Painter living in Los Angeles. I have been working professionally as an artist for over 25 years. I was an Art Teacher on the Westside for over 20 years as well. I was recently selected (2020) as a Public Artist for the City of West Hollywood. I created a mural for VH1's RuPaul's Drag Race Season 13 on Melrose and many other murals. And I have created artwork for many venues including Mariachi USA at the Hollywood Bowl, Day of the Dead Annual Event at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, World Aids Day cover artist for The Wall-Las Memorias Project and more.
