Im a graphic designer on paper, but work as a sign painter under Bluejacket Sign Company and I am based out of HB California. I have been painting signs for 7 years and have been pursuing more mural work for about that past 2 years. What inspires me is seeing high quality hand painted portraits on a large scale. Just like the hand painted outdoor advertising you see in Los Angeles and New York. I prefer working in oil based enamels but will use any medium that is available. Most of my knowledge of hand paint is self taught but I have had a few good mentors along the way. Also, working as a freelance artist in the hand painted advertising world has taught me more than I ever thought I could learn. Im looking to do more large scale murals in the future and learn from my peers along the way.
