About this mural:
Cecilia Romero was part of Estrella Jalisco's Artist in Residence program in being the first of many muralists to honor a "local star" who's creating a positive impact in their neighborhood. Cecilia designed and painted a colorful portrait honoring Starr Greenfield who has been helping feed the homeless in LA through her non-profit "Favor Fridays". **This campaign was sponsored by Estrella Jalisco and curated by Beautify Earth

Cecilia has been painting murals for 8 years now and is passionate about transforming an environment through her colorful mural art. She uplifts and beautifies by utilizing her vibrant color pallet mixed with portraits of people and animals. Cecilia truly believes in the healing impact of art, both on the individual level as well as the collective consciousness within the community.
