About this mural:
Cecilia Romero was given the opportunity to design a mural based around LA culture for Knotel. She had a dream one night that gave her the idea for a ‘concrete jungle’ theme which eventually became ‘Urban Jungle’. This mural is a dense creation of meaning and purpose. Inspired by the interconnected diversity in the city as well as the millions of people chasing their dreams and hustling everyday in Los Angeles.

Cecilia Romero grew up in Silverlake and Echo Park, CA with a primal instinct for the arts. Cecilia has been painting murals for 8 years now and is passionate about transforming an environment through her colorful mural art. She uplifts and beautifies by utilizing her vibrant color pallet mixed with portraits of people and animals. Cecilia truly believes in the healing impact of art, both on the individual level as well as the collective consciousness within the community.
