About this mural:
I was commissioned to paint a mural for a Vietnamese restaurant near my Art studio. Went in to grab some Pho and the owner loved my work. He said if i could create something minimal & modern with some text he would be down to hire me for the job. This was the result. From old yellow walls to a bright modern feel.

Jason Yang is an artist based in Houston, Tx. Inspired by modern contemporary art of the past and present. You will find a mix of contemporary and realism relative to his artwork. He focuses highly on details and loves conceptualizing his work around story telling and saturated colors. Acrylics & enamel paints are his specialty, but he also enjoys using other mediums such as spray paint in his works. Jason has been painting since 2014 and is inspired by as quoted, “The lively feeling i get when i create keeps me driven and energetic. This is a feeling I’ve had since i was a child and it brings me so much joy to be able to share it with the world. I love bringing visions & concepts to life.
