About this mural:
I was commissioned to create 1 of 2 murals for a Bistro in Galveston, Tx. The Owner of the establishment gave me full creative freedom for both walls. They wanted something “crazy” with a ocean theme. We bounced ideas back and forth and this was the end result. This is 1 out of 2 murals i completed inside the Bistro.

Jason Yang is an artist based in Houston, Tx. Inspired by modern contemporary art of the past and present. You will find a mix of contemporary and realism relative to his artwork. He focuses highly on details and loves conceptualizing his work around story telling and saturated colors. Acrylics & enamel paints are his specialty, but he also enjoys using other mediums such as spray paint in his works. Jason has been painting since 2014 and is inspired by as quoted, “The lively feeling i get when i create keeps me driven and energetic. This is a feeling I’ve had since i was a child and it brings me so much joy to be able to share it with the world. I love bringing visions & concepts to life. The crazy part is that ideas all start in the head, then we birth it to life and i think that is powerful.” -Jason.
