Village Elementary School Mural Mural Art
About this mural:
Sixth graders at the school created a video that was shared with me, where they discussed what the last year of 2020 had meant for them. They discussed their resilience as a wave which ebbed and flowed, while maintaining strength. They also discussed their longing for physical connection throughout their shared experience of social distance. I designed this 10.5'x7' piece to reflect their sentiments.

As a professional artist that has been working in the field for nearly a decade, I am passionate about precision, color theory, and the proper achievement of a visual goal. My style ranges from realism to abstraction with specialization in portraiture and foliage, as well as an emphasis on graphic forms. Further my tool set for murals ranges from traditional paintbrush to modern spray paint techniques. My murals are meant to inspire the community by telling stories of diversity and hope.
