Gooey is a self-taught painter, and graphic artist, who believes that everyone should have access to art. His goal is to create art in unexpected spaces, and everyday objects to find the accidental audience. He believes a city should be an immersive, interactive experience and that art can change how people treat our community. After leaving Mexico City Gooey found his way to Los Angeles to explore his creative passions. Gooey’s art is meant to can be a game changer for people, making positive impacts in their daily lives and therefore changing how we all coexist. Gooey’s art is inspired by artists like Keith Haring, Miro, Lichtenstein, Rashid Johnson, De Kooning, Gabriel Orozco, Gottlieb, Gorky, Motherwell, Kaws and Shepard Fairey. Gooey lives and works in Los Angeles. He is obsessed with art and is in constant creation mode
