I was commissioned by the City of Pomona California to paint a mural that would complement the swimming pool at Washington Park. I chose to paint a Kraken in the form of a large octopus splashing intensely in the ocean. My hope is the imagery will encourage the children during the summer to splash in the swimming pool and feel larger than life.
