About this mural:
Fine artist Sküt unveils his signature style in an expansive mural welcoming West Hollywood back to Micky’s. Fluorescent black-light activated rainbows flood the walls beneath ascending, Pride-themed heart balloons and a 30-foot go-go-boy who towers above the boulevard in preparation for Micky’s triumphant return. With community, equity, and visibility as central themes to his design, Sküt honors Queer history and Micky’s anchor presence, a WeHo staple since 1989.

Sküt (Scott Lewallen) is Los Angeles born local artist. Best known as original designer and Co-Founder of Grindr, Sküt is an active member of the gay community and lives in West Hollywood, California. Using a unique combo of color, technique, and happiness, SKÜT creates art with activism and awareness, championing causes of equality and environmental themes. SKÜT has exhibited at The Other Art Fair by Saatchi, WeHo in Paso via the City Of West Hollywood, and is a TAG Gallery Member Artist.
