About this mural:
A fun and colorful window mural draws customers into Gravlax bar & restaurant at the corner of Washington and Centinela Blvds. Coral helps create some privacy inside and colorful salmon, turtles and jellyfish swim among a sweet thresher shark. The restaurants name is scrawled in white with accents of yellow, red and turquoise - the same color as the trim.

Inspired by nature's colors, textures and patterns, Jen LaVita loves to bring scenes to life with paint. Jen uses saturated and unexpected colors and bold brush stokes to create vibrant scenes. She works across a spectrum of styles from loose and painterly to more graphic with clean lines. Her use of color is bright, bold and happy.
She draws inspiration from the beauty around her when exploring outside, time at the beach and her love for all animals and sea life. Originally from outside Boston, Jen went to college at Syracuse University in New York, then served four years as an U.S. Army Officer. She is now an artist working in the westside of Los Angeles.
