About this mural:
A study of swans: historically admired and cherished for their outward appearance; and weeds: often unwanted yet they persist and bloom even in the harshest circumstances. This dreamlike piece interprets our society’s shifting perception of beauty and how appearances are not always a true reflection of reality.

Her work was recently included in Booooooom’s art book, Quiet, and featured on set in HBO’s second season of Euphoria. Her very first group exhibition took place at Rockefeller Center in the summer of 2020, and she has since collaborated with galleries in California, New York, and North Carolina, art directors at Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group, HBO, Netflix, FX/Hulu, PigPen Theatre Co., and Madison Wells Media on projects spanning book jacket illustration, creating artwork for film and television, band artwork, and large-scale hand painted mural design and installation. Jessie is currently developing a new series of drawings that explore the inevitability of renewal.
