About this mural:

Thanks to the generosity of CalTran’s Clean CA Local Grant Program, Omnitrans selected up to 45 visual artists to celebrate art in the Inland communities. Local muralists and painters were encouraged to apply their artistic ideas and concepts for painting concrete bus stop benches. Concepts reflect the local culture, history, resources and character. Dias’ bench piece, titled “Life Connected”, has an orange gradient background to resemble the desert landscape of San Bernardino County. It is overlayed with the flower of life, a sacred geometric symbol, representative of new growth and our connections to each other and the environment we share. The positioning on public transportation infrastructure highlights the connection and how travels bring us together.
