Calavera Mural Art
About this mural:
This mural was done for Marisa Martinez Jewelry. Marisa is a metalsmith who creates adornment that connects to a rich, Indigenous, and Mexican cultural heritage. For this mural she wanted to incorporate her heritage and her work. I incorporated her custom jewelry into each of the sugar skulls into this two story tall mural; for perspective each calavera is 5 ft tall. I loved bringing this representation of her culture and business to life.
