About this mural:
Brazil: Enchanted Forest is an immersive residential mural inspired by the richness of Brazilian nature, folklore, and biodiversity. Created for a child’s space, the mural transforms the room into an imaginative Brazilian landscape populated by native animals and plants. The visual narrative features iconic Brazilian species, including the pink river dolphin (boto), ocelot (jaguatirica), golden lion tamarin (mico-leão-dourado), and macaw (arara), surrounded by Brazilian tropical flora. At the child’s request, a large, colorful rainbow became part of the composition, adding a personal and playful element while visually connecting the different areas of the room. Rather than functioning only as decoration, the mural was conceived as a visual story and an invitation to discovery. Animals, plants, and unexpected details appear throughout the space, introducing Brazilian biodiversity and cultural references into the child’s everyday environment. The project reflects my approach to narrative muralism: creating site-specific environments where art, storytelling, nature, culture, and personal identity become part of the architecture of a space.
