women of Vila Butantan Mural Art

I led the curatorial direction of the murals that shaped the façade of Vila Butantan, defining the visual language and selecting the participating artists. The goal was to create a cohesive narrative aligned with the space’s open, cultural, and experimental identity. Invited during the process to contribute as an artist, I created my first large-scale mural. The piece introduced the Sonhadoras: a woman in profile, eyes closed, her hair moving with the wind that crosses the architecture. A quiet pause within the rhythm of the space. Executed in black and white with subtle pink accents, the work became both part of the collective composition and a personal statement. This project marked the convergence of my roles as curator and artist, and the beginning of my work with large-scale murals.
