I was comissioned by Grubb to create this piece to reflect the history of the 20 year old Tildens Auto Care that was recieving this facade uplift. As a NC native, I used florals that are from our hometown to represent growth and flourishing of the buisness, while the geometric shapes represent the rigid structures we define our life and success by. The elegant pinstiping patterns are inspired by Von Dutch and the gears are a nod to the automotive shop where this piece lives. The color pallette was derived from salvage Yards brand Use Guidelines.
