About this mural:

This mural was created for Pharmhouse Wellness, a dispensary locally and located in Grand Rapids Michigan. The inspiration for this piece was created to give off the feeling of and style of enjoying cannabis in a recreational society. This mural was created in two parts, one in the lobby, seperated from the second half only visible once entered and exiting the bud purchasing room. This allowed for suggestive imagery to be shielded from potential minors that may accidentally wander into the shop's lobby. the organic shape appear as an organic assymetrical pattern along the walls. However, upon entering the bud room, it is clear that the shapes are the smoke being exhaled from the mouth of a female consumer illustrated in grayscale in the style of realism.

Ashley is a freelance illustrator based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. She went to Grand Valley State University where she received her Bachelors of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Illustration. Ashley has gathered 10+ years of creative experience including Graphic Design. Packaging Design, Pattern Making, Illustration and Murals. She is known for her work contribution to the Muskegon Train Bridge Project completed in 2020 as well as her custom resin dice sets. She often spends her free time dominating in Super Smash Bros. and doodling to her hearts content.
