This mural was created with Lions and Rabbits to help beautify the local crosswalk located in Creston Neighborhood of Grand Rapids. These murals were created to help highlight the crosswalks and promote pedestrian safety. the concept behind the mural was to use colors from the pride flag, bisexual flag, African american pride flag, puerto rican flag and eye of protection. All of these represent not only the personal heirtage of the artist, but also the pride of other LGBTQ+ and BIPOC members in the community.

Ashley is a freelance illustrator based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. She went to Grand Valley State University where she received her Bachelors of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Illustration. Ashley has gathered 10+ years of creative experience including Graphic Design. Packaging Design, Pattern Making, Illustration and Murals. She is known for her work contribution to the Muskegon Train Bridge Project completed in 2020 as well as her custom resin dice sets.
She often spends her free time dominating in Super Smash Bros. and doodling to her hearts content. You'll frequently find her backpacking, drawing in her sketchbook or watching the new must-see movies. She looks forward to hearing from you, and possibly making another friend.
