About this mural:
This piece was created in collaboration with children and families visiting the DuPage Childrens Museum. We worked together to create individual pieces that were then incorporated into the large scale mosaic that is permanently displayed in the young explorers area.

I grew up in Logan Square, Chicago. My work consists of stained glass and mosaic and is often inspired by my experience as a Mexican immigrant. My most recent work embodies community, unity and the idea that we all belong and deserve to feel welcome and safe.
