About this mural:
This project is part of the Logan Square Neighborhood Association's Welcoming Corridor project through which LSNA has used to help spread awareness about our countrys current immigration crisis. These mosaic butterflies, created by students from all over Chicago, help designate these spaces as welcoming and safe spaces for all.
Styles used:
I grew up in Logan Square, Chicago. My work consists of stained glass and mosaic and is often inspired by my experience as a Mexican immigrant. My most recent work embodies community, unity and the idea that we all belong and deserve to feel welcome and safe.
