On the Margins Mural Art
About this mural:
This was part of a two-man mural show. My partner and I were contracted to paint the entirety of the downstairs gallery area of a local exhibition space in 10 days. We were given carte blanche to be as bizarre and wild as we wished. The resulting show debuted in January of 2019, titled "On the Margins."

Sometimes when making art I am known as PLOID.
I make art that appeals to my inner 12-year old latchkey kid. If it’s rad, I love it. Comics, skateboarding, punk rock, graffiti and lowbrow… these are the raw ingredients that go into the stuff I make, be it paintings, illustrations, or large-scale murals. I use the visual language of my youth to express themes and messages that are important to me as an adult.
If we’re all just screaming into the void, it may as well be fun, right?
