They wanted something beautiful to embellish their home and something their kids could grow with. A private moment for their family that also had a wonderful opportunity to give to the public as well. The top half of the wall peers over the adjoining wooden fence and is visible to the neighborhood. As a gift to the people in the community we utilized the local symbols of the area into the design. The American Shad fish in honor of the areas name, Fishtown, and Cattails and Yellow Pond Lily's frame the wall representing the local flora in and around the nearby Delaware River. The Shad fish faces the street and greets the people as they pass by. All in shades of blue that match the interior tile floor in their kitchen and gives a feeling of water and painted porcelain on the clean and crisp white wall. It is an absolute honor to be able to continue to bring color and stylized symbolism to embellish the moments in peoples lives. I appreciate and cherish every moment of it.
