About this mural:

My client wished for a simple nature inspired mural on the primary wall that the hostel guests see as soon as they arrive from all over the world. Pura Vida to me means a pure life of simplicity, peace, and presence. This is a recent project I completed as a volunteer at a hostel in Costa Rica in November 2025. Earlier that year, a calling was placed on my heart to paint a mural. This was very shocking to me because I had never painted more than a canvas, but I listened. Over the next year of trusting, completely changing my life, working on my art, and slowly sharing my gifts, this opportunity came to me in divine timing. Co-creating this with spirit and pure presence brought me to tears many times throughout the process. I am so thankful I had the opportunity to create this piece for a local Costa Rican family. Showing the connection between nature and the pureness of life was a dream come true.
