About this mural:

From his view down the street from his new business, the Blue Moon Cafe owner spied a newly completed mural down the street at Granville, a local restaurant located near Lankershim and Magnolia Boulevards in North Hollywood, California. The work was that of Shane Grammer, an internationally known muralist who is perhaps best known for receiving national coverage for his work in Paradise, California following the wildfires in 2018. The owner loved Grammer’s aesthetic, and felt that a similarly styled piece gracing the facade of his own business would entice new customers in. The owner set up a consultation with Shane, and requested that the artist come up with a design concept that would suit his business. For Shane, the idea of “Blue Moon” instantly conjured up imaginative imagery of cosmic conquest and dreamy florals. The owner was elated with the concept. Shane got to work, and within four days the 288 square foot mural was complete.
