About this mural:
Mural commissioned by "No Going Back LA" in collaboration with 1111 Projects. Created in recognition of all the hard working people with jobs that many looked down upon, and were suddenly labeled as “essential” during the pandemic. This mural is meant to remind them that they were valuable before the pandemic and always will be.

Karina Vazquez is a Mexican born visual artist residing in Long Beach CA. Through her work, she explores the interconnectedness of dreams, consciousness, and existence. Her work has been part of numerous group exhibitions throughout LA, and she has realized several public art projects throughout Southern California.
