I fell in love with photography at the age of 17. Two years later I was the publicity photographer for Sauk Valley College where I learned about the great French photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson and his concept of "the decisive moment". I went on to study photography at Southern Illinois University. Years later that same passion, informed by seeing, feeling, and life-experience continues to be the fuel that drives me to connect and create. Whether I'm taking photos of an organization's event to capturing the elegant stillness of a flower during a single instant, the joy and satisfaction is sharing those images with others. In addition to licensing images for commercial use and offering mounted prints for sale, I am available to capture the important moments of private and corporate events, commercial shoots, as well as on-location projects in the US and other countries.
