My work explores themes of sexuality, mental health, and the depth of emotion in the human condition primarily through mixed media, using oil and acrylic paint, illustration, and found objects to create an emotional experience when viewing her work. I follow desire and personal attraction, and share it through the lens of my canvas when I don’t feel I have the words to describe these feelings or experiences in my day-to-day life. There are certain emotions — whether they be due to religious feelings or a desire to break boundaries— that are better expressed through my work. I am mainly inspired by my travels around the world and my experience with the unseen world. My hope is that this exploration of my internal psyche gives you permission to excavate your own unconscious, and explore a world you may not be living in on the surface of your life. I am deeply fascinated by the unseen world, which is reflected in my psychotherapeutic and mediumship work, as well as my work as an artist. The arts are a discipline in self-discovery, one that is continuously ongoing throughout our lives.
