About this mural:

The prompt for this piece was "pathways" of Savannah, GA. It was part of a larger effort by the City of Savannah to create the longest mural in Georgia, by connecting pieces created by 5 separate artist teams. Our portion was the most community centric piece, incorporating many of their requests for local sites to be honored and by connecting with local organization Loop-it-Up to bring students out to the site to learn and add a bit of their flair to it. Our team member, artist Courtney Fredette, came up with the concept of an ode to Candyland. Courtney Fredette, Caroline Rose, Olivia Morrison, Sean Keeth, Shaye Garrigan, Tim Patterson, and Tara Garrigan painted this ground mural as an interactive piece where locals and visitors can visit the website, spin the wheel, and play their way through Savannah Land.
