Velia De Iuliis grew up in San Francisco as a first-generation American. She studied illustration at California College of the Arts before moving to Los Angeles to pursue her career in environmental art.
A multidisciplinary visual artist, her work spans large-scale murals, studio painting and collaborations that explore the intersection of art, design, and conservation. Her detailed murals, gouache and oil paintings spotlight endangered flora, serving as both time capsules and calls to action. Past collaborators include World Wildlife Fund, Dolby, RVCA, and Better Booch.
