Mexican Moose Restaurant Mural Art

Mural size:
30 ft x 4 ftAbout this mural:
The owner of Mexican Moose wanted something to uplift their second location, as he had yet to decorate or add any aesthetic touches. I had full artistic reign and decided to do something that would brighten up the space with pops of color. I wanted it to be hip and abstract, while also centering Mexican culture. The motifs are all based on pre-Columbian Mexican stone stamps. Moose don't exist in Mexico, so I created the moose to pay tribute to their brand. The jaguar is based on a stamp found in Oaxaca, where the owner's family originates. I added the red motif behind the moose because it was found in two of the employees' hometown, Apatzingan.
