Phoenix based artist, Ashley Macias omften paints surreal imagery reflective of her human experience. Her work reflects strong bold line work and fluid elements found in her desert surroundings and human nature. She combines a mixture of psychedelia imagery, human psychology and surreal experiences in her work. Being self taught, Macias has spent the last several years developing her style in Downtown Phoenix. Her work is often changing fluidly through various experiences from geographic influences and her appreciation for things found in nature and spirit. She finds continuous passion in questions within our cosmic universe often pulling influences from psychedelia, living animals, abstract imagery, sexuality, death, cosmic dreams and organic shapes.
