Kailee Collar is an Atlanta based, self taught, visual artist who discovered her love for art at a young age. Growing up in the wilderness of Idaho’s Rocky Mountains, she knows the outdoors to be her greatest inspiration and classroom. In constant awe of natures beauty, she began oil painting landscapes in the 4th grade. Her painting followed her throughout high school and a little in college, with the addition or illustration. Not knowing how art could be more than just a hobby for her, she finished college in 2013 with a BA in business. Years later, in 2021, after listening to a podcast on dreams and desires, she had a “aha” moment. Kailee realized that what she desired the most for herself was to wake up everyday and create. It was then that she decided to quit her corporate job and begin become a full-time artist.
